what is selflessness? Is it just an idea fancied by some to get a high; a boost to the self esteem or an emotional supercharge or worse still, a dangerous feed to the demonic ego?
I guess the above holds true only if selflessness is attached to an expectation or an end result. If it is free of the cause or an effect, if it is just a function of an individual's choice, selflessness is indeed a virtue.
