If you will, the advancement of our civilization may well be fathomed by the plethora of choices available to us even in the most trivial of decisions. But mind you, where our physical comforts may have been easy to come by, our mental-prowess/commitment/focus/single-mindedness have all taken a big hit in the bargain. Until one is rock-willed or has a wisdom of god, choice after all may not be such a good thing.
